Award Winning Mudgee Wines 2018

You can't really can't begin without mentioning a few of our shining stars, who are consistent in their reign of producing fine wines. Robert Stein has to be one of the regions most highly awarded vineyards, and their Riesling, year after year accumulates accolades from near and far. In fact they have a track record of producing a range of both red & white award winning wines consistently each year. Robert Oatley is a renowned wine producer with vineyards Australia wide, and their Mudgee wines aren't taking a back seat to some of their more prolific regions. Their Mudgee Shiraz varieties brought home medals from 4 different wine shows Australia wide. Gilbert Family Wines brought home no less than 9 medals at the 2018 NSW Wine awards, for 9 different wines! Bunnamagoo is another well known representative, who did outstandingly at the local Mudgee show & the NSW Wine Awards with a diverse range of medal winning wines.

There are so many that deserve a mention; Lowe Wines with some of our favourite organic & biodynamic varieties, Gooree Park, Burrundulla, Huntington Estate - who are renowned for their stunning reds - but again have claimed awards for a wide range of wines styles, there's Moothi, Logan and not to mention First Ridge - who brought home a gold trophy at the NSW Small Wine Makers Awards for their stunning Vermentino. What is really impressive is seeing our small wine makers making a big impression - like LMB, who took out a prestigious gold trophy for Best Riesling at the NSW Small Winemakers Show, which is no mean feat!
